The flowmeter manufacturer tells you how to clean the flowmeter
When cleaning the metal tube float flowmeter, it is necessary to first remove the clamp ring of the flowmeter, then use a pointed nose pliers to remove the limiting ring. After removing it, block the outlet of the measuring tube by hand, slowly invert the measuring tube, and remove the float. Use water washing, air blowing, or dry cloth to clean the impurities on the surface of the float, and also clean the measuring tube and limiting ring. After cleaning, gently remove the float in the same order as before, as if it were inside the measuring tube.
The upper and lower guide rods of the DN15 float are cylindrical, and the float can be gently shaken after being placed in the measuring tube to fall into the guide, but it is necessary to distinguish the upper and lower parts of the float and not install it upside down; For the milling position with identification direction under the guide rod with a diameter of DN25 and above, the milling position should be aligned with the groove of the guide, and it should be installed. Then, the limiting ring should be aligned with the guide rod on the float, and the snap ring should be inserted into the groove. If the snap ring is too loose, it can be gently stretched outward by hand, but not too much force. After complete assembly, push the float to check the flexibility of the pointer rotation.
During the removal and cleaning process of the metal tube float flowmeter float, attention should be paid to the float not falling, knocking, smashing, etc. During the entire cleaning process, it should be handled and installed gently to prevent it from being scrapped due to misalignment between the upper and lower parts. Do not place the float close to a strong magnetic field to prevent the polarity of the float from changing. When installing the clamp ring, it should be ensured that the clamp ring falls into the groove of the clamp ring to prevent the float, limit ring, and clamp ring from falling off and rushing into the pipeline when impacted by the measuring medium, causing damage to the valves, pumps, etc. at the back end and causing unnecessary losses. The indicating part of the converter has no movable parts, please do not open it during cleaning.
